Much Wenlock Accommodation

After a tumultuous few weeks at the office, I really needed some time to myself to relax, recuperate and recharge my batteries.
I took a couple of days off and decided to return to the peacefulness of my home county and take a long weekend to myself.

I still have a special place in my heart for Shropshire, and the historical town of Much Wenlock in particular, where my family and I spend some memorable days out.

I searched for Much Wenlock accommodation and found a pub that I had vague recollections of, The Fox Inn. I booked in for four nights and set off up the M1 for a much needed break.

The Fox was an absolute dream to stay in, with beautifully decorated and individually styled rooms. Breakfast was just what I was craving; a nice hearty and filling full English every day. Dinner was unbelievable though. Locally produced fresh food made to a delicious standard at a fantastic price compared to what I’m used to paying.

Speaking of price, the entire weekend stay cost a lot less than I was expecting, and was a very pleasant surprise when I came to settle up on the Monday. I’ve already arranged a return trip to Much Wenlock in a few months, after what I’m sure will be another hectic period ahead.
