High Performing Software

The Companion Suite Pro software supplied allows the connection of a personal computer with a compatible multifunction machine.

From the PC, you can:

manage the multifunction machine, allowing you to set it up according to your needs,

print your documents on the multifunction machine from your usual applications,

scan colour, grey scale or black and white documents and edit them on your PC, or process them into text using the character recognition software (OCR),

TWAIN Software

This allows paper documents to be converted to the PC using the TWAIN Driver.

Laser Printer

Install the printer driver on you PC and use the 600 dpi Laser printing for your everyday print work. The MF4690N will allow you to set up your printer on the network for a number of users.


Send documents over the internet *

Thanks to the scan to email you can now send your documents to your inbox in black and white or colour. Just press the @ button from the fax machine and select an email address. Thanks to the email button you can also send text to your inbox.

Scan to FTP Server*

The scan to FTP function enables you to put your TIFF, JPEG and PDF files in an FTP server, for example, for archiving. To connect to the FTP server, you must know the name of the FTP user and the password.
When sending files, the machine connects to the FTP server using the defined connection parameters

Locking the keyboard*

This function allows you to prevent access to non-authorised persons. An access code must be entered each time a person wants to use the machine.

Department Codes*

Use of the machine can be limited to authorized personnel within each department by setting up a master department code and individual department codes. You can assign one master code and up to 98 department codes. The terminal can then monitor the usage for each department. The master
department code is used to setup and modify the department code information.
